Okay, so just in case you are tired, nonobservant (I highly doubt that's a word), ignorant, or plainly stupid, I AM IN A HAPPY MOOD! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Gosh, okay, so, let's see what's been going on in my life?  In other words, why am I so happy?  Well, I'll tell you why:

A)  Umpiring a fifth and sixth grade softball game

Okay, so this probably doesn't sound all the exciting, but for anyone who's been unfortunate enough to really get my talking about softball you know how much I love the sport (even more than all the other sports I love).  So while umping the game made me miss playing a lot, I still just love to get out on a diamond.  And I CANNOT wait until the Alumni Softball tourny this year.  :) Oh and I get $20 for umping which doesn't hurt, haha.

B)  Getting my first pay check

I think this one speaks for itself.  I mean, money.  For me.  How can this be bad?

C) Going to District Track Prelims

Okay, I love track.  Softball barely won out over track and we've already discussed my love that sport.  So I, with Britt, went to the meet to work flags and see people we haven't seen in forever, and it was absolutely awesome.  I got to just chill like the old days, talk w/ everyone about track, school, people, life, nothing, etc.  It was great.  So happy.

Okay, creepish...my cursor just randomly moved itself across the screen.

ANYWAY so I'm really happy.  For someone who really didn't want to be here anymore and was ready to go to college right around beginning of sophomore year, I've made quite the turn-around in the last week or so.  There's so many things about this area that's so hard to explain to people from outside.  Even the people who claim to be from a "small town" really don't get it cause usually they mean like 10,000 people.  Not 2,794, lol.  But really...it's just the tight-knit community, how you know everyone and everyone's brother (and sister...don't wanna get one feminist rights activist I know on my case;) ), and the security that comes from that.  I guess now I understand why even when people move away, they so often come back to raise their kids here.

So...what's up for today??  Well it's 7:32am so it's time for me to go to bed...this afternoon a bunch of us are going to the baseball tourny game, then I'm working tonight 1030-630.  Tomorrow will be wholly devoted to District Track Finals...yay!

Alright this is a long entry...oops.  Sorry y'all.  I'm out...have great days!
