Wow, my last entry seems like a lifetime ago. Time for an update.
Back in Minster for the summer...it's like going back to an old life that I can't fit into anymore. Most of the friends aren't coming back til later this week at the earliest, mid-June at the latest. That's probably good though, as far as keeping me from getting distracted as I settle into my new job.
Dannon's going pretty well. I especially like the second shift people; they're a lot of fun. I haven't met the third shift people yet...I will next week when my hours shift to 5pm-1am. Not such good hours for hanging out with people...not like I have much choice. It's either work crazy amounts of hours at weird times and have a chance of going back to UD, or working normal hours somewhere else and having a slim chance of going back. Since going back to UD is pretty high up on the priority list, that's going to take precedence.
Living at home again is...interesting. Things went fairly well for about, what, 5 days? Then the reaming began. It's amazing how fast I can revert to total disgust at myself. If I hear one more "subtle" tip on how to lose weight I might lose it.
I'm thinking about picking up mornings at the stable again...working outside is good for me plus the money would be a major help. I sat down with my bank books and IOUs and projected earnings (that sound official) for summer 2004, and with the scholarships I have, and assuming I get no loans/grants, I am close to getting to go back to UD. It's do-able, which is more than I thought it would be a month or two ago, but it's going to be rough.
In other good news, I get to go to Charlottesville in 27 days...not that I'm counting. I miss that boy so much. I can't wait to get to see everyone again, it's going to be awesome. I supposed I probably won't miss everyone quite so much once everyone else starts coming, but with work and such I don't know how much I'll be able to hang out with everyone this summer. We'll work something out.
