And the Danimal Massacre Commences...
So it's 00:20, and once again I'm at ye olde Dannon Yogurt. In fact, I've been here for over 4 hours already...and only a bit under 6 hours to go...yippee skippy. Actually, I was afraid I would have forgotten a lot of stuff, but so far I haven't done anything dumb. So far. I wasn't supposed to have a locker, but that would leave me with no place to leave my keys/cell/shoes while back in the labs. Fortunately I noticed no one appeared to be using my locker from over the summer, and after staring at the combo lock for about a minute and a half and realizing I didn't remember the combination, I decided to just not think about it and do it by rote. And it worked. And now I know the number...I hope. Otherwise all my stuff will be locked away in the morning. And that would be sad.
Anyway, break's great! I'm really enjoying not having classes. I'm severely disappointed in myself though...it looks like I'll have 2-3 class that are less than 1% from the next higher grade. Bleh. I'm working 7 nights over break...6 10-hour shifts and 1 8-hour shift. Definitely going to make for better checks than the office at school.
Also in the process of looking for a car. It's fun, but not very gratifying...nothing promising within my price range yet. Keeping my fingers crossed though.
Glad this semester's over on so many levels, even though it seems like college is flying by. There were just too many awful, stressful undertones to this semester that just combined with the academic rigors to really wipe me out. I'll be better soon though...nothing a bunch of sleep and lots of home cooking can't help with:):)
Well, I better head out...gotta get another set of samples in about 10 minutes, and then maybe take my reak and eat a hearty dinner of yogurt. MMMMMM yummy! I'll have to remember to stock up a few cases of yogurt to bring back to school with me...if anyone has requests I can bring you some yogurt :):) Just let me know, it's really not much trouble. Get your requests in quick though, because I can only get so much from the plant...much more than I or my family will eat though.
