E-Eh, hello?

All I can say is that your not alone here, but none of us know how we got here either.

We? As in, plural, yeah? I'm not sure if I'm relieved or more worried.

I guess it's better knowing your not alone though, right? And yeah, there's quite a few more people here.

Yes, that does help, I suppose. Are you-- well, do you know who's in charge here? Or how they're populating this place?

You see that device you've got now? Every now and then a man appears on the screen, warning us before night comes. But I'm not sure if he's in charge, exactly, but he's the only authority I've seen so far.

Ah, that reminds me. When the night cycle does begin, you might prefer to be inside.

I see. A cowardly host, how pleasant.

Oh? Might I ask why?

Well basically the reason we need the warning, is to give us time to get indoors. People who stay outside get hurt, some sort of... Eh, monsters come out when the sun goes down.

Why would we need a warning? Sunset is usually cyclical, isn't it? We could be indoors long before any trouble might arise.

I've only wittnessed a few, I've been sleeping alot since I got here. But here, the sun goes down just a little quicker, and at a very precise time, gates open allowing the monsters through. They'll be a siren, though. I'm just not exactly certain how much time your given.

Sleeping? Are you ill?

Ahh, there it is, the catch. So you're saying the sequence is random, and we're feed for the nightly stock?

E-eh, not exactly.

Random enough, I guess. And I don't know of anybody being killed just yet, usually you either make it inside or stay out helping the people who got caught outside. I've never been out, but the injuries some get are pretty bad.

And.. I think different monsters come out each time. Some are more likely to be weaker than others.

I apologize, it was rude of me to ask. I hope you'll forgive me, Miss...?
[She's searching for a name, trying to be smooth.]

That's a relief, I suppose.

N-No, it's okay. I uh, have a small problem with the sun. Hurts my eyes a little, but I'm working on it.

It is, I'd hate to think of what it'd be like if we didn't have the warning.

Oh, I see. It's low at the moment, sort of a twilight. Is that still bothersome?

I presume we wouldn't exist for very long.

Not too much, really. It's getting a little better, so that's a good thing I guess.

Probably not, but still. I'm lucky to have such good roommates, since I don't know how long I'll be here for.

That's fortunate.

Roommates? That sounds fairly awful. Well, I suppose not awful if they're being helpful for you.
