Hello All,
Well, looking back I can see my last post consisted of a promise to let everyone know my thoughts on Leeds Festival. I can't be bothered now and to be honest, I can't remember much as vast quantities of alcohol were consumed. Just over a litre of vodka in my case.
So, In brief: It was great, I shall be going next year.
Also, I'd quite like to go to WOMAD Festival next year, takes place the end of july. It features artists from all over the world, you and I won't have heard of any of the acts but it's a great experience from what I've been told and I think some of you may enjoy it. Tickets go on sale next year...Anybody Interested?
I'm still checking beans :/ Much as it is tedious, it's easy money and gives me a lot of free time. Which is just what I need seeing as my bass took a backseat over the summer, I need to get practicing again. I've also just purchased a keyboard which I am looking forward to getting stuck into. Seeing Patrick Wolf last night on the keyboard inspired me so I really want to learn to play the instrument well. I've asked my bass teacher to speak to his guitarist as he teaches around 40 pupils. The local crop around here are well..shite. I'd like a good one! Try and get the ball rolling with this band business.
I'm quite content at the moment, spending my days working, practicing, reading and eating at the usual times. I'll be in Manchester/Salford quite frequently over the next few weeks due to Dave, Alun and myself attending a fair few gigs. Hopefully, Dave will get round to buying National tickets as I'd really like to see them. I regret not seeing them at Leeds, I should have really but no-one else wanted to. I coudl have gone to see them on my own but I didn't. In the past I've felt uncomfortable on my own but it's been holding me back I think.
So No-More!
So the near future holds a lot more practice, fair few gigs and the MusicLive Exhibition in November. It looks good.
I'm ok.....for now. :)
Take Care
