I suppose it's about time for a healthy update. It's been a crazy few weeks on my end. My favorite month has coem and gone and now we are on to the best season, though not like it really matters in Florida. I've been spending all of my time floating between working at the church, working at the flea market, working with Crimson Recordings, Immoral Habit, Cellpan, and dating the lovely miss Trista Sholes. Needless to say, my time has been very limited.
I was a gothic drag princess for Halloween. Fun times in drag, though Zach (as usual) got way more wasted than was really necessary. Oh well. Halloween was still fun.
In terms of band sheit.... New Years looks to be über fun this year, with a huge show at the Ridgeport (very similar to the one I played last year that was oh so fun). This time around, I'll be doing double duty, performing a set with Cellpan then a couple of bands later doing a set with the new Immoral Habit! Speaking of that project, I've never been so excited to play in my life. The new material is some of the heaviest, in-your-face shit I have ever been a part of. I can't wait to throw it out there for all to see. We just finished live rehearsal recordings of the drums, bass, and guitars. We hope to throw on some vocals in the coming weeks and hand out some free demo samplers at the New Years show, so people can take home a taste of the new material. A full length album is expected for an April 2006 release.
On the Cellpan front, we have just finished recording 4 tracks for our upcoming full length, with 6 more still in the works. It is still up in the air, but it looks like we may add on a few songs from their previous release with the old singer. I'm up for anything, but would honestly prefer to do only new, unreleased material. That full length should come out around the time we head out for tour in March.
