Employee runs into Burger King with city truck

A Tonawanda city employee was caught fleeing the scene of an accident in a Parks Department truck on Monday.
Nathan Myers, 18, 19 Taylor Dr., was driving the truck through the drive-thru window at Burger King, 11 Delaware Ave., when he ran into the window.
The manager said a loud noise could be heard throughout the building. She went to another window to talk to him, but Myers drove away, according to the police report. Myers said he didn't know he hit the window.
He was given a summons for leaving the scene of property damage.
