So I was just bumming around my computer and came across my old Livejournal account... Something I had long ago forgot about. This journal has quite a past, at least in my opinion and it seems like a waste to stop using it. So I think I will start updating more regularly. Espeicilly since I find myself surrounded by Water and a ferry ride.

So lets start with the good stuff. I love it out here. I have a larger then normal dorm. It has a mini-fridge, a mini-tv and my laptop. It may not be much, but it is all mine. It is my space. I hold the key and no one else. That to me feels so invigerating. Sometimes its noisey during the weekends, but then again I am usally apart of that noise making. I have met some pretty cool people out here, two of which actually went to UCFV, which is kind of strange, but awesome to have the connection. As for my classes, I really can't complain about most of them. My geography course will probably be the most boring, but is panning out to be one of the easiest ones aswell. I am taking three 300 level history courses, each one fascinating, but filled to the brim with work. I am particularly keen on my American West and Early Mediterranian classes. In one of them my prof does not give out due dates, and in the other my prof speaks 5 languages and starts every class with music from the era and area we are studying that day. So far all of my profs have been really accesable and easy to talk too. Hopefully I will feel this way by the end of the semester too...

I also joined two clubs. One is the History Undergraduate Society, they asked if I was interested in joining the executive counsel and the Beer Making club, that one I am pretty sure you can figure out why I joined that. It seems I am going to have a full year.

OH and Amanda and I are doing fabtacular. We see each other pretty much daily for breakfast in the Rescafe and usually study together. We are planning on going to the beach on saturday as long as the weather holds.

Right now I can't really think of anything else to say... so Good night! And see you next time!
