I worked tonight. 5-10. It sucked. My parents informed me that they would be at a wedding all night, so I'd have to walk home. Lucky for me, the thunderstorm decided to wait until 9:30. I got out at 9:45 because it was slow and I had all of my work done. My parents called and said that they called my grandma to pick me up because it was raining so much. I could've gotten a ride from Chris or Alex.

Work was fun. I kept getting in trouble for talking to Jessica. We giggled over the sex books and just talked all night. It was so much fun.

I spent $21.25 on books. I bought Cherry by Mary Karr, a recent recommendation to me. It was $2.99 plus my discount, so probably like $1.50. Yay for bargain books. I also bought some "words you need to know" book, the Awakening which included some short stories by Kate Chopin, Of Mice and Men because it was also $2.99 (what a deal!) and Stupid White Men by Michael Moore (which was definitely not $2.99).

I've cleaned the computer room almost spotless, just a few more odds and ends I need to finish up. I might start the laundry or something, since I'm feeling so productive.

Working at Milton's always gave me so much energy, but Media Play makes me groggy. I've paid the price for better management, really awesome discounts, and the idea of going home without smelling like grease for a few nights. It's all worth it, I guess.

P.S. I just found out that "quixotic" is a word that you can use as your Current Mood. I also saw a salon caled "Quixotic Nails and Hair." I was also discussing Don Quijote with Jessica today. I also read Don Quijote this year in Spanish class. Oh, you silly Miguel De Cervantes, you rule my life.
