MiraCosta’s Dance Arts Ensemble leaps into action to celebrate our rich dance heritage and diversity with “Shapes and Reflections 2006.” The show is choreographed by MiraCosta faculty and a few selected advanced students and will be directed by MiraCosta instructors Trisha Hanada-Rogers and Dave Massey.
Students performing in “Shapes and Reflections” range in age from 16 to 50 and are from all over San Diego County, including Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Escondido, Ramona, and Fallbrook. This exciting performance of ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, ballroom and world dance forms features both classical and contemporary dance styles. The show includes music from Enya, Santana, Natasha Bedingfield, Justin Timberlake, and more.
“Shapes and Reflections” will be performed December 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m. and December 2 and 3 at 2 p.m. in the MiraCosta Theatre, 1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside.
