And there's Veda, can't admit her jealousy of her sister Veronica and how she's so pretty

Thrice concert in Cincy tonight. Was amazing. While waiting in line to get into Bogart's there was a homeless guy in a wheelchair with no legs, asking for change so he could buy shoes. The opening band, Veda, were really good (I hadn't heard anything by them before). Their singer said that they had gotten their van and trailer (and therefore all their equipment) stolen the night before in Detroit, which is really sad and I've heard that happening to a few bands lately. I was going to buy their cd, but their merch was in the van and therefore stolen. :-( The Bled were really good, I like them a lot more now than I did. Underoath were actually a lot better than I thought they'd be, especially since their performance at Warped was a letdown. But they did really well minus the keyboardist going into seizures every other second (not for real, just trying to look cool onstage) and them not playing "Reinventing Your Exit." Thrice was amazing, as I knew they'd be. They played over 20 songs, and included all the awesome ones: "Image of the Invisible," "Silhouette," "Under a Killing Moon," "Artist in the Ambulance," "Betrayal is a Symptom," "The Melting Point of Wax," etc. They closed with "Deadbolt," then Dustin came back out and played "Stare at the Sun" acoustic, and then they all played "To Awake and Avenge the Dead." Definitely a fun night. And our car didn't get towed this time!...but we saw these kids in the Walgreen's parking lot looking for their car, it had gotten towed like ours did last time, so we drove them to the impound place.

On a different note, this picture is funny, although Claire's the only one who will get the extra joke ;-)
