For the record, everyone, this is alicia...and I won the contest...Justin just gave his password to tess because I think he likes her.
Believe it or not, I have actually put some thought into what I was going to put here. I thought about alot of things, and finally came to the following conclusion:
Most of you are probably still in high school. Here are a few words of wisdom for you:
-Cherish what you have now. Don't let petty fights and bickering stand in the way of a friendship that is meant to last. Soon, you all will be going off to college. It's scary. It'll be easier if you have those you love right beside you.
-Get over it. Who cares if what she told her brother's girlfriend's second cousin's dog offends you. It's not like his opinion really matters anyway.
-Don't ever, ever let a boyfriend and/or girlfriend stop you from hanging out with your friends. I learned this the hard way. I don't care if you love him. You've known your friends longer. They've always been there and always will be. The significant other won't.
-Always be honest. There is nothing worst than dishonesty because without your integrity, you're left with nothing. Always be up front when speaking to someone. Lying is a bed habit and a hard one to break. It's like smoking, but without the carcinogens. Just tell the truth.
-You're in high school. It's supposed to be the best four years of your lives. In my opinion, that is a myth. If high school is the best four years, then you've peaked too early. College is going to be the best (insert number here) years of your lives. But remember to have fun. It's all about that when you really get down to it.
I'm not a philosopher and I haven't discovered the meaning of life, but I did have fun in high school. They were the best years of my life THUS FAR and I know they are just going to be getting better. I want to see you guys, though, and often. Stop by the dorm whenever you want. Robinson 407. Just call the cell first. I'll miss y'all and to those who fall under the category, have a great senior year.
loves, licia
