Restaurant Adventures: CinCin

Yes! I've finally eaten at CinCin! And yet when I first entered the restaurant I had this overwhelming sense of deja vu. The decor looked very familiar to me, but I know I haven't eaten there before. Am I crazy?

(I wait for the resounding shout of "Yes!" from the peanut gallery to die down.)

Anyway, the special occasion was that Mom and Dad wanted to take us kids to a nice meal and asked for my opinion. Heh, heh, heh. And there was a wonderful surprise for me when I got there: the special appetizer for the evening was foie gras. Jack and I were very happy--especially me and I ended up eating most of the huge glob that was presented to us. I managed to convince my mother and brother Bruno to try some, but neither of them like it. Bruno thought it was strange and my mother thought it was too rich and a bit gross. That leaves more for me! :)

The family shared a couple of antipasti plates which were excellent: squid, goat cheese stuffed peppers, etc. The gnocchi I ordered was perfect--not to hard or soft. The only complaint would be that their Citrus Margarita is too small.
