About six and a half years ago a group of grads sat together in a near-beach hotel. None of us knew what we were signing up for, let alone who the person sitting next to us was. Over the next week we became a closely bonded team of wide eyed people entering the blue U universe.
Some memories from our times together include.. an early morning run at the beach, a flying fox, being 'surprised' in the middle of the night and being blindfolded and led through a 'fire', rescuing someone from a cave, sitting in a feedback chair, asking for toothpicks (and Dom thinking it was done by winking at stef), playing the simulation board game, trying to build a pulley system of some sort with only half the instructions to cross a river...
We have all had many different adventures within and out of Australia since we met and sadly our numbers have decreased over time.. Karen, Feargal (his name still brings a chuckle), Tanya, Dan.. all have moved on to other organisations. I am not sure what happened to Sim.
Anyway, of the group of us it is great to see that so many of us are still around. I think Diana Fetter would be pretty satisfied with our batch and I would hope that Paul Mitchell would be to.
But enough soppiness from me...
