Had a weekend full of inspiring moments.  Spent quality time with son and hubby, which is always A Good Thing.  Saturday I attended the Draculas Ball with some girlfriends and had quite a nice time.  I was pleased with the way my outfit turned out, which included wearing one of my great-grandmother's hats.  My one minor hiccup was watering eyes = running eye makeup.  However, I was able to rectify that prior to arriving at the club.  Spending time with such beautiful people who are confident and comfortable in their own skins is very inspiring.  And last but not least, I was digging in the dirt AND re-arranging furniture in the house on Sunday.  Quite ambitious of me, huh?!  Love the way our bedroom is now set up and anxious to start decorating.  And I must say that even though I've dug in the dirt for years, I don't think I ever truly appreciated it's meditative effects prior to now.  Guess this means I'm finally 'growing up.'  I think I'm finally OK with that!

Drowning myself in reading, yoga, and dancing (bellydancing and ballet).  Also started playing piano again since my wonderful hubby had mine tuned up for me as an 11th wedding anniversary gift.  What can I say, he knows my heart!  I pleased that he is enjoying the Thor's Hammer pendant I got for him.  He's been wearing it almost daily, only altering it with the 'Self' Rune I got him as well.

Looking forward to various upcoming summer events, which include but are not limited to:  a day lunching and shopping in New Hope with girlfriends, W.Rdg's Art on the Avenue, the Hill Climb, the Strawberry Festival, Annville's Memorial Day Parade that my father and step-mother are in, our friend's annual pig roast, Bernville's Fishing Rodeo, a day in Mt. Gretna which will include bananas foster sundaes at The Jigger Shop, our martial art's school's picnic, a weekend in Stone Harbor, NJ, and lots of concerts (Slayer, Faith No More, Clutch, Weird Al, and possibly Soundgarden).  Also hope to include in this list a day at the Ren Faire, a tea either in Lititz or at my home, cemetery rompings, a long weekend trip to visit family in Vermont, a night at a very haunted guest house in Gettysburg, and a day trip to Frederick, MD.
