Libraries are great sources of information. When Lisbeth was young she used to take great comfort in the tall stacks of books and the great long files of index cards all with the name of a book and a number. Perfect order. The smell of books, the smooth polish of furniture under the glow of lamps. Very nice indeed. Before the internet, back before personal computers, in a dark, dark time libraries were the main source of information for a person. People would have to make do with whatever was available at the library as well. Say what you want about the internet, as pointless and disturbing as it can be, it really does open up a whole world of information at the click of a button.
