*Quick continues petting Tango as he thinks.* Well, we've had potential places as fallback points before, but for the most part, Air would be a problem in them. He's too recognizable as one of us with no way to cover it up. Besides that, they're all located in our universe. We'd be found too easily if Wind tried...
*Quick takes a look over at the bodies of Flash and Metal, sighing.* And if they can be fixed, it's gonna be even harder to hide.
*Air starts to carefully check through things on the computer. Charge, at least, was predictable in the damage he caused.* It's the other two that I'm worried about. *Air shivers a little, adding sadly.* If they can be fixed, that is.
*Blues nods* And since the nexus allows for other possibilities, somewhere a bit further from home would be better.
*He's quiet for a moment, running through the list of places he knows.* Might have to field that one to Quint. Most of my places are in my own universe. There are a few remote enough that nobody would notice Air, but I don't know if you'd be too comfortable. Might be better if you were in a universe that didn't have any version of Al or Rock. Even if it might be possible to explain things to Rock. Maybe.
*Quint's pretty hopeful about Flash - after all, anything it might not be safe for the CR to try to repair is in that little box. Metal, however, he's worried about. And the idea that one or both of them can't be fixed scares him for more reason than that - some of the Robot Masters in his nightmares looked damaged as badly as Metal is.*
*It's hard to tell whether he's really being hopeful, or playing a denial game with himself when he refuses to let himself think that there's a chance they won't be ok.*
*Elec frowns slightly, moving over near Quick* I have to head back soon, but.. if they can be repaired, it might be better if I wasn't around when they are.
*Quick sighs.* Much as I hate being forced out of my own home universe. I need to take care of the others first, Blues. I was planning to ask Quint if he had any ideas about that, as much as I hate having to ask him for more after this. *Quick looks a little annoyed at the mention of Rock's name but doesn't say a word.*
*Quick nods at Elec.* As much as I didn't want to chase you off, it might be easier to explain what's happened at home before having to explain alternates. Going to be hard enough to tell Metal, if he doesn't already know...
*Air sighs as he looks back at the computer and finishes checking everything over. He then confirms the repairs for the CR to begin. Air is a bit uneasy though. Those were the easy repairs. He looks back at Flash's body, shivering a little.* I just hope I didn't do to much damage to those parts when I pulled them out. *Air's actually scared too find out exactly how bad he did. If Flash couldn't be reactivated, wouldn't it be his fault for doing the damage?*
*Elec nods* I understand. I'll leave as soon as Crash is better. Besides, I really should check on Shadow. My universe's Shadow, that is. He seemed to be taking the news well, but it's not like he really shows when he's upset.
*Quint's returned to the chair he was on next to Air, and is watching the progress on the computer screen. He shivers very slightly at what Air says about Flash. It would be awful if that happened and there was no way to fix Flash. He tries not to even think of the possibility, and watches the screen instead.*
*Quick frowns.* He knows what happened to the Shadow of where I'm from? *He sighs.* I just don't want Air to run into another version of your brother like he did in the Nexus. I honestly think the shock of that is what made Air lose control to that stupid chip. Would've happened eventually, but that made it sooner. Wait, that reminds me of something...
*Quick raises his voice so Air can hear.* Air, where's Con Brio?
*Air looks over at Quick.* I left him in the Nexus. Didn't think it was safe to bring him with on a rescue mission. *He looks back at the screen, watching the progress.*
I thought it would be easier to tell him than risk him finding out as a nasty surprise. *Elec frowns and looks uneasy* I found out what happened to.. well, let's just say Wind didn't keep his mouth shut the first time he saw me. I didn't want Shadow to find out the same way.
*Blues almost looks a little surprised* Rock's first trip into the Nexus he returned extremely confused and more than a little upset, and babbling about an alternate of Airman who was afraid of him.
*he shakes his head slightly* I should have guessed, really.
*Quint is glad for something to focus on as a distraction from wondering about Flash and Metal. He looks up at Air* Your metool? That's what you named it?
Do you want me to go back and see if I can find it, 'niisan? Would it come with me if I tried to bring it to you?
*Quick looks a bit uncomfortable.* Your universe's Shadow doesn't know how it happened, does he? If anything, that makes it worse...

I wasn't responsible for that part of the programming. Quick's friend did that. It's alright; I'll just find Con Brio later.

No, he doesn't. It's enough of a surprise that it happened at all. He's the only one besides Forte and Gospel who has never been sent to the Gallery where we're from, so finding a universe where Wily wanted rid of him like that... I'm not sure how he's really taking it yet.
Still, if it came down to finding out because I told him after we fought his alternate, or finding out because he's in the nexus and meets up with his alternate - or Wind, I'd rather just tell him.
*Blues' response is completely calm, betraying nothing of what he thinks of the situation* No, but he mentioned putting it away when Air didn't attack him like he'd expected, so it's easy to guess he must have put it on at some point. Likely as soon as he saw one of you. It's habit.
Odds are it was all a mixup, and one that wasn't good for anyone involved.

Still, if it came down to finding out because I told him after we fought his alternate, or finding out because he's in the nexus and meets up with his alternate - or Wind, I'd rather just tell him.
