woo hoo, an update! Ok, so basically I am really happy right now. I love my floor, I love my classes (I dropped gothic art to have more time for the GRE and applying to grad school) and in general I just feel at the top of my game

I did the anon comment thing and got some really cool responses, until someone started posting really mean stuff. I was able to figure out pretty easily who it was, but it pissed me off.

As for the counseling thing - yikes! Who teaches that class? You should drop it and train with UJs instead lol. I'm trying to put myself in your situation, and I can't decide whether I would have remained silent, responded calmly, or been snotty about it. I'm certainly no expert on counseling by any means, but I'm extremely well trained and have performed well under pressure. I think you went about it perfectly by responding calmly and telling her why you are, in fact, qualified, or at least moderately experienced.

Hopefully I will be where you are a week from now - I'm so burnt out that I'm bordering getting sick (attending 8 hours of class/day with no lunch and then LK stuff every night has been taking a toll on me) but now that I'm off my waitlists and dropping classes, I think things will get better soon. I think there is a mall trip in the near future ;)

Dont worry, I was super burned out from all the class and RA stuff, and I am just now coming out of it, so you definitely arent alone. I also cant even remember the last time I was at the mall, but I know it is probably going on two weeks, which is scary long for me. Its all good though, because I will probably be shopping for my experiment in the next two weeks!

I'm definitely getting sick - I feel like a walking zombie. 6 more hours of class, and then I'm freeeeeee!

Hmmm... I don't think I've been to the mall in months. I'm looking to buy a knee length skirt (all of my skirts are either really short, or really dressy), a belated anniv gift for Scottie (any suggestions?) & check out some big dept store sales.

Is there a store called Paresians in STL? A friend of mine found Coach bags marked down to $30 there, and I could get back to the ebaying ;)

I'm in for the night drinking tea that one of my residents made for me (aww) and watching my rezzies get invited to join acapella groups! so far we have an After Dark and a Greenleaf ;)

LK talent show was fun, but some of it was a tad inappropriate (like Amelia's residents singing about how they want to sleep with her) - especially with Tim and some faculty judging
