let's see, how about some news without complaining about anything... i might be able to manage that...

1) Without even receiving my scholarship application yet, Richmond is already offering me the Dean's Award, which is worth $9,000 a year!!! yay. Which is good, because the conversion rate made that school slightly more expensive than it was last year. Now I just need to get more...

2) Work is... interesting. We lost an employee last night, and there may yet be more to come. My darling Angela has come back for spring break, so I really hope we can hang out. We hung out for about half an hour in the breakroom last night before I actually started working.

3) I'm working on my tan a little before beach practice. Progress report: uneven, low quality.

4) Random people keep asking me if I'm going to prom. Some of them are not quite understanding me when I explain why I'm not going by myself.

5) I finally watched Enchanted the other night (we bought it). Oh man, one of the best movies ever! I was not expecting that much out of it. Even the cliche bits were priceless. I want a Pip. He is an amazing chipmunk.

6) I now own a black bikini. *SHOCK* yeah. At first I felt skanky buying it, and then my mum's like, "If you can't wear that kind of bathing suit now, you never will be able to later on." So, what the hell, I bought it. And I look half-way decent in it. One of my two main concerns with it is fine now. Now all I need are swim trunks.

7) I finished my FAFSA, but haven't sent it in due to necessary (?) parental supervision.

8) I'm going to finally buy my two goldfish during sprink break. I'm very excited. I wish I could get some other little animals too. Seeing all the little birds and rodents at the pet store made me want them, but my mum has allergies. blegh.

So, Friday was one of my two days off for the week. I went shopping with my mum. We didn't argue or fight or try to kill each other (SHOCK). I bought some cute stuff that we actually agreed on (SHOCK). We might do it again some time (SHOCK). Most likely, I'll drag her to the pet store with me when I get my fish. Because I don't know the questions to ask and she does. This is one of the only few things I'm worried about for myself when I'm in college or on my own. And making phone calls to strangers. etc...
THE END
