Hi Amanda,

I saw your post in the USMC Girlfriends group and wanted to stop by, introduce myself and tell you about a community that you and Tyler might be interested in.

My name is Tiffany. I am the Owner and Group Moderator for patriotpenpals. We are a non-profit organization committed to providing friendship, support and encouragment to military personnel deployed overseas. Our volunteers send letters, cards and care packages as a way of showing their thanks for all these courageous men and women do.

Unlike many similar sites, our volunteers are screened and required to go through an application process. The continued safety and security of our troops is my first and biggest concern. For that reason, personal contact information is never made available in a public forum and names are not distributed.

We'd love to have you stop by and take a look at the group! We have quite a few girlfriends, wives, family members and friends of military personnel that participate. We have articles with money saving tips, care package ideas, information on legislation affecting our troops, features on merchants that extend benefits or discounts to military personnel and much, much more.
