- i've an mp3 player! *G* it's blue and white, slim like an Ipod Nano, and can hold approximately 2GB worth of songs. it also has a name: Fiji. :> WOOO FIJI. i shall show you pics of my baby later. (coby has regrettably perished; he still has basia bulat throbbing inside of him, and OMG i shall miss him dearly.)
- to my dismay, i accidentally included muvee (and other applications') sound effects on my All Music files on my Windows Player last week. so, for instance, whenever i play my stuff on All Music i'd be nodding my head to metric's the twist and i'd be going okay, this is good stuff when i'd be yanked hard back into reality when the WELCOME! sound effect plays right after the twist ends with a final note. last night, i was determined and faintly terrified to confront my Windows Player once and for all! see, i thought i was going to have to delete the sound effects one by freaking one--there were a lot of them, like...COUPLE HUNDRED OF 'EM, i should say--because i didn't know how to delete all of them simultaneously. but i was saved from that horror!! :D i just, um, clicked things and the sound effects were DELETED. like, the lot of 'em. YAYYYYY ME.
- this morning one of my friends woke me up. BY TEXTING ME.
my cellphone this morning, at 6 am: PLING.
me: IGNORES
cellphone: PLING PLING!
me: BOTHERED BY THE PLINGY NOISES
cellphone: PLING PLIIIIIIIING.
me: OMG, STFU. ;___;
three texts later, i got my ass off my bed and gave my friend a ring. >:D and then i went back to sleep...only to be woken up by text messages and a phone call five hours later. *HEADDESK*
- coffee rescued me from texting said friend Christo. thank you, coffee, for turning me into a decent human being today!!
- oh, by the way, if you know some people who are culturally different than me (and you) and they won't mind if i sort of interview them, please tell me!! see, i'm doing this assignment which states i have to expose myself to a variety of culture and social experiences outside my own identity (e.g. religious ceremony, ethnic celebration, etc etc) but due to limited transportation and other circumstances, i can only attend an event of some sort on Saturday. my assignment is due next Tuesday. i'm still searching for events that i can actually go to on saturday, but just in case that doesn't work out very well, i have an alternative. so if possible, i'm just going to ask people questions about what they do, do a bit of research on what they do and who they are...culturally wise. um, i hope that makes sense! so yeah, if you know some people who are willing to be interviewed by yours truly, please inform me. I'LL GIVE YOU MY FIRST-BORN SOCK. (i won't ask your friends hard questions or anything like that. for example, if they're Catholic, i'll just ask them what they usually do on Sundays, what kind of festivals they attend...what they do at the festivals...etc)
- my dad's birthday is this Sunday. HUZZAH. \o/ i want to throw a party for him or something, like i did for my mom on her birthday several months ago. *VIBRATES*
- ohhhh yeah so i'm making a couple people mix CDs. :> i will complete making them before...um, this year ends. I HOPE. but yeah, i'm having fun so it doesn't really matter. i'm actually nervous, too, coz my taste in music differs from theirs. anyway, i'd LOVE to make YOU a mix cd so tell me and like, list a couple songs/artists you like so i'll have an idea of your taste in music.
- OMG SUPERNATURAL COMES BACK NEXT MONTH. I AM SO, SO EXCITED. EEE.
