Busy Wascals
Been really busy the last few days, hence lack of updates.
Friday was meant to be a staff development day at College so I was going to do a course on personal safety and self defence, but I ended up working as I have to provide some information for an audit. I had my first MacDonalds in a good few years for my lunch, which was actually kind of a nice change - Big Mac, Large Fries and a Chocolate milk shake.
It was adequate, is all I can say!
Friday dinner was curry done in our slow cooker - beef madras, which was very nice. We Watched Land Girls, which is OK but you don't really care enough about the characters to make it a great film. Interesting extras though. My favourite character was Prue (played by the lovely Catherine McCormack).
Been experimenting taking pictures on my mobile phone camera and texting them to something I get with O2 called My Bluebook, and then uploading them to Photobucket. Some results:

Saturday started off badly with both of us in a bad mood, I ended up buying the missus some flowers as when she is sewing and its not going well she gets very teasy and testy. Lunch was a Pasty, after which things improved and we got quite a bit done including a couple of sets of collars and cuffs, she finished some Britches for a friend (they are about the size of a marquee). We watched Plunkett and Maclaine after dinner - top film - and can now say "I swing EVERY way" in Italian and Spanish. The amusing thing about that were the voices :)
Sunday more sewing, observed 2 minutes silence, then plenty of painting, model making and being jolly productive.
