Shopping
Right, decided what I need to get in no particular order:
From Focus DIY
Mask for when using Dremel
Black Hammerite for painting ironwork on garden bench and garden gate
Screws, nuts and washers for fixing garden bench
From College shop
Tracing paper
Lens cap and back cover for Cannon 35 - 80mm lens
Cap for Cannon EOS body
White Gesso for priming models for painting
Batteries for camera(s)
New case for 35mm compact

New MP3 Player, as sadly my MiniDisc player has given up the ghost
I also want a new mobile phone, nothing fancy as we get knack-all reception in the village I live, but mine is f*cked since I dropped it on the main road outside Truro College when I was running for the bus after work.
I also need to measure my painting I want to enter in the Staff Art Exhibition, and get the details to the organiser by Friday.
The missus and I have also decided we are going to have a house-keeping money pot, so when she goes shopping in town for food (she's near a T*sco and a Co-Op), its not always her paying for it. So I will put in, say £20.00, or she will give me £20.00 if I go to the shop in the village, which I like to support but doesn't have a huge ramge of things. Same crisps, bread, veg is OK, but not a large spread of different brands, etc. In some ways it makes shopping easier though. I HATE supermarkets!
We are having a Trafalgar Day dinner next weekend - been trying to find recipies for the kind of meals Jack Aubrey would have eaten. Some good ones in the recipie books we have, we just need to decide which ones!
So things like mutton stew, vegetable soups, apricot pie, cheeses, port, to drink to the Immortal Memory of Lord Nelson, and plenty of claret to wash it down with :)
