People always recommended half.com to me... but you have to make sure you know just what edition you need. I haven't bought anything there yet... I usually end up procrastinating and buying them at the bookstore. ^^;;

Might want to check around and see if there are any off-campus stores near your school. I know there are a couple near mine... haven't been there yet, but they're supposedly cheaper.....

Wah, Evanescence. I still debate about buying that. Maybe if I find it really cheap somewhere.... I can deal with the mp3's for now. X3

I got Evanescence for $14 at Wal-Mart. A pretty good deal, at least in my opinion, because all of the songs on the CD are great. :D

Well, eh.... a lot of people got the idea Evanescence was a Christian band, and then they said they weren't and one member dropped the f-bomb in a magazine interview. (Ironically, he's not even in the band anymore. He had a bad attitude. ^^;;) So now a lot of Christians are like, "OMG, boycott!!!" I don't really care because I like their music and I've heard that Amy Lee says she's a Christian, but if you mention them around Christian music fans... well, prepare for a flamewar. ^_~

Ah, I see. Well I guess it's their (the people who thought they were a Christian band) own fault. Just goes to show you that you can't make assumptions. :\

At least the music's clean. I'm not gonna boycott them just because one of their members who doesn't even represent them now swore in an interview. *nod nod*

No problem. ^^ I think the whole thing's stupid myself... it was the label's fault for marketing them as a Christian band. And yeah, the music is clean and very good... I love her voice.
