To Israel, or not to Israel...

In about two weeks I'm due to be out on the road again.

As of right now, I'm scheduled in Tel Aviv from the 29th through August 24th, then Lahore, Pakistan from September 6th through the 19th and finally Dublin from October 4th through the 20th. There are, of course, other things up in the air right now, but the big question is Israel. I'll probably find out whether or not I'm actually going around the 27th. For now, I have my tickets and my travel advance and I'm waiting to see if the Israeli embassy is still issuing visas and if I get cleared to travel. It would be par for the course for me to fly off there right about now, eh?

It's hard for me to believe that it's been just weeks shy of two years since I left NYC. I've seen, what, 19 countries on 16 trips in those two years, with multiple trips to London and Mexico. I spent about thirty days at home this past year from the beginning of September through March. I've been bitten by spiders on 6 continents, I've seen six rain forests, five of the worlds deserts, two glaciers, and fjords in both the northern and southern hemisphere.

Meanwhile, life goes on. My Dad has been in and out of the hospital, but it looks like he's ok for now. Waiting on further info from his doctors, which I will also hear about around the 27th. That's going to be a crazy week.

I'm kind of wondering how long I'll keep on with this, and where life is going to take me next.
