In place of the usual obit link, I offer for your consideration one of my favorite Carlin bits.
I've always appreciated George Carlin's keen sense of observation and humour, but this little skit shaped a bit of how I view the world. If we could just ignore all the fluff that wars seem to be started over and focused on how, at its core, every faith holds respect and compassion for one's fellow man as its highest mandate, how much bullshit we could have been spared then and into the future!
