- I freaking loved how there were so many references from the first film, I wasn't expecting that; subtle but great for uber-fans like me ;)

Loved that. I hope most people who went to see this had already seen the first one.

they didn't completely pretend she never existed

I was kinda bothered by no reference. There was a perfect moment for it IMO, right after the Zara Dil Ko Thaam Lo song, when Don tells Vardhaan who Ayesha was. Oh well. Nothing major.

- Don still watches Tom & Jerry, hahahahaha, that reference made me laugh the most :D

I love it. I caught myself watching it the other day and thought of Don. :P

- Roma/Don is just a big no-no for me, it makes both of their characters OOC; Roma should hate him for killing her brother and using her and he doesn't care about anyone and certainly had no qualms using her as a means to an end in the last flick

It does seem kinda weird (even Vardhaan says "now I've seen everything" or something similar lol), but I just contribute it to the fact that Roma did kinda fall in love with him, thinking he was Vijay. It's hard to just let those feelings go. And it seems Don has always had a soft spot for her.

- I like my Don hot and badass, but why was he less evil in this one? he was even saying 'please' and 'thank you' to everyone around him wtf??

Didn't he do the same in the first one? "Koi please nahin kehta."

- SRK had such an awesome wardrobe omg I loved it to bits he was lookin' fiiiiine!

Mmmhmm. Total eye candy in this one. :D

I loved this one. I think a tiny bit more than the first one.

But the brilliant part was that you didn't have to see the first one, but your experience was ENHANCED if you were familiar with it. :) Farhan is one smart cookie!

I will just kindasorta pretend Ayesha IS Anita, because they never really mention her name again and she functions EXACTLY like Anita. They totally just wanted to up the starpower of the person they cast. :P

I...will never get behind the Roma/Don thing. It makes absolutely no sense to me for those reasons I listed. I can understand Don being able to "get under your skin" as far as Roma goes and her not shooting him point-blank in the head is realistic because she's not like that but the implied love is...really weird. We didn't get to see much from Roma's POV so I'd love to see her have a lot more spine in the next one, she was way too easily swayed.

Haha yeah he did say that line but I took it to be facetious then, plus here it was more obvious that he had all these uber-nice manners. Not that he isn't cheekily polite but more that I wanted him to be more angry and evil. Like when he yelled at Kunal Kapoor's character, that was awesome! But even that was just for show. :(

For me Don was pretty much perfection, tough act to follow imho.
