LOG: Fuji and Saeki go out for ice cream with a small interruption.

Fuji: *is sitting on a swing at the park, face lights up when he sees Saeki coming* Saeki-kun! *jumps off the swing*
Saeki: Fuji! *pants* Did I made you wait too long? *worried*
Fuji: Oh no! Not at all! *laughs cheerfully* I was just enjoying the sunshine! *stops just a few feet from Saeki and grins cheerfully at him*
Saeki: *smiles sweetly at Fuji* Thanks! *scratches the back of his neck*
Saeki: So, um... what do you want to do today? *beams brightly*
Fuji: Nothing specific really, I just thought that perhaps we could go for ice cream.
Saeki: Ice cream? That sounds great! *walks closer to Fuji*
Fuji: Excellent! *grabs Saeki's hand and starts off quickly towards the ice cream vender*
Saeki: *blushes as he feels Fuji's hand on his, but follows Fuji anyway*
Saeki: *laughs* So, what flavor do you prefer? I hope they have something that'll appeal to you. *still not letting go of Fuji's hand*
Fuji: Well, I was thinking I'd like a vanilla and strawberry twist today. *beams at Saeki* What do you want?
Saeki: *blushes as he sees Fuji looking at him* A-Ano... A-Any flavor would be fine with me... although I think I'd like the chocolate mint ones. *can't stop blushing as Fuji's hand is so soft and warm against his*
Saeki: So shall I get you the vanilla-strawberry twist now? My treat! It's been a while since we last hung out. *smiles*
Fuji: Ah, well, it's not that big of a deal, really. *blushes slightly and lets go of Saeki's hand*
Saeki: *feels somewhat disappointed that Fuji has already let go of his hand, gives a smile* Okay, let me get the ice creams. *goes to the shop to get the ice cream*
Fuji: Ah! Saeki-kun, wait! *runs after him* I-I have to have the soy ice cream. *glances down, embarrassed*
Saeki: *looks worriedly at Fuji* Ah! Yes, I almost forgot that you're lactose intolerant. I'm sorry. *cups Fuji's chin with his fingers and lifts it slightly so Fuji and him are now face to face* Don't worry, I'll get you the soy ice cream. *smiles sweetly*
Fuji: *blushes furiously* A-a-ano, thank you.
Saeki: *blushes too as he realizes his actions* I-I'll get the ice cream now. *runs off to buy the ice cream*
Saeki: *is now done buying the ice cream and is holding two huge cones in his hands, goes back to where Fuji is standing and gives him the white and pink striped one* Here ya go! Good thing they have soy ice cream in that shop. *hands Fuji the cone*
Fuji: *shyly takes his cone from Saeki* Thank you, Saeki-kun. *starts to lick his cone*
Saeki: *can’t take his eyes away from watching Fuji lick his cone, blushes bright red* You're welcome. ^^
Saeki: *looks away to hide his flustered face*
*a monkey swoops down and steals Fuji's cone*
Fuji: That's my cone! *runs after the monkey* Wait, what's a monkey doing in Tokyo?
Saeki: *looks at the monkey, also surprised* I-I don't know! We don't even have them in Chiba! *tries to chase the monkey* Hey, monkey, give it back!! *as if the monkey would understand him*
Fuji: *pauses in pursuit of the monkey as he spots a grocery store* Ah, Saeki-kun, don't lose sight of him! *dashes into the store and re-emerges a minute later with a bunch of bananas*
Saeki: H-Hai! *continues chasing the monkey*
Fuji: *watches as the monkey hides in a tree at a park* Saeki-kun, I have a plan. *lays a banana under the tree, then another one a few feet further, and so on for several yards* Perhaps it will work? *smiles gently at Saeki*
Saeki: *stops and looks carefully at the monkey then observes the monkey's muscle movements* I hope it will. *but loses his concentration upon seeing Fuji's smile, blushes*
Fuji: *whispers into Saeki's ear* Look! He's taking the bait!
Saeki: *sees the monkey's wagging tail and carefully watches its movements with his sharp eyes* Be ready for it Fuji. *absent-mindedly takes Fuji's hand and intertwines their fingers slowly*
Fuji: *Blushes and smiles bashfully at Saeki, not paying attention to the monkey at all*
Saeki: *holds Fuji's hand tighter as he gives it a gentle squeeze, thumb playfully making small circles on Fuji's hand, notices Fuji's attention being shifted to him and feels his heart beat faster*
Saeki: *lets go of Fuji's hand* I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean.... *blushes and looks down*
*the monkey is now completely forgotten*
Fuji: *chuckles softly* It's alright, Saeki-kun. I don't mind. *suddenly reaches out and grabs the curious monkey by the tail*
*The monkey is actually rabid, bites them both and they die horribly.*

Fuji: Ha! Not so quick, now are you, monkey? *grins as he hold the monkey in the air by its tail*
Saeki: *doesn’t know if he should be happy looking at Fuji's satisfied face or if he should feel sorry for the monkey, decides it’s better to look at Fuji*
Saeki: Oh... your ice cream... *looks at the melted ice cream splattered all over the monkey*
Fuji: *gazes at his former ice cream sadly, then smiles cheerfully* Oh well, I certainly had fun trying to catch this little imp!
*An animal control truck pulls up suddenly and two men hop out*
Man #1: Thank you for catching him, this little guy's been giving us the slip for days now.
Man #2: He escaped from the zoo almost a week ago. What’re your names, boys?
Fuji: Ano, Fuji Syuusuke. *grabs Saeki's hand nervously*
Saeki: *blushes at the sudden contact with those soft hands...*
Saeki: K-Koujiro Saeki desu... *squeezes Fuji's hand tightly*
Fuji: *moves closer to Saeki*
Man #2: Can you come down to the zoo office?
Man #1: *takes the monkey and puts it in the back of the truck*
Saeki: *looks questioningly at Fuji, as if waiting for an answer, not aware of his arms suddenly encircling Fuji's waist protectively*
Saeki: What are we going to do at the zoo office? *holds Fuji closer to him*
Fuji:*blushes furiously, even as he leans against Saeki*
Man #2: Well, I'm sure the Management would like to speak to you about catching this little guy.
Saeki:*isn’t able to understand what the guy said because he's too occupied with the thought of Fuji leaning against him, blushes profusely* O-Oh… I see...
Man #1: Don't worry kids, I think the boss just wants to say thank you.
Saeki:*Still not letting go of his hold on Fuji's slender waist, looks at Fuji and is relieved when the shorter boy gives him a sweet smile, smiles back* Shall we go then, Fuji?

*later at the zoo*
Manager: Thanks for catching him boys, we had offered a reward of 1,000,000 yen, so it's all yours now. *smiles as he hands Fuji the check*
Fuji:*blinks* 1,000,000 yen!?
Saeki:*shocked* 1,000,000 yen!!???
Saeki:*looks at Fuji, then at the manager* Is this some legendary monkey or something?
Manager: *laughs* Not legendary, just expensive. He's one of the few of his kind left, after all.
Fuji:*smiles cheerfully* Well, I'm glad we could help.
Saeki:*still shocked* But then... a million yen?
Manager: Of course! This is but a small price to pay. And it would be quite rude of me to lower it when that is what I offered.
Fuji: Thank you, sir. *nudges Saeki in the side
Saeki:*notices Fuji's sudden fierce look* T-Thank you so much, sir! *takes the check reluctantly*

Fuji: So, what are you going to do with your portion? *smiles cheerfully*
Saeki: I still don't know... *looks at the cash as if he's dreaming*
Fuji:*hums cheerfully* I was thinking about getting the chainsaw Nee-chan said we couldn't afford.
Fuji: After all, it could be so useful! *cheerfully plotting the murder of certain persons*
Saeki:*smiles upon seeing Fuji's face, clueless of what Fuji has in mind* You're right, Fuji.
Fuji:*glances at Saeki in surprise* You really think so? Most people don't think I should have one.
Saeki: I think chainsaws are rather useful. We used to have one way back, but then it got rusted and Father had to throw it away at some junk shop. *smiles, then remembers that Fuji can be very scary at times, pales* Ne, Fuji, you're not going to use it in some weird way, right? I mean, chainsaws are for big chunks of wood... *looks worriedly at Fuji*
Fuji:*looks away innocently* Of course not, Saeki-kun. I would never even consider it!
Saeki:*cold sweat trails down his forehead* Well, you said it. So I don't have anything to worry about... right?
Fuji: No, no, nothing at all. *smiles cheerfully* Thank you, Saeki-kun.
Saeki:*still scared of what Fuji might do, but fear is immediately replaced with delight as he sees Fuji sitting down that same swing he was on when they met earlier that afternoon, Fuji starts to swing*
Saeki:*can't help but admire the way Fuji gracefully moves the swing with an innocent smile on his face*
Saeki: You're welcome, Fuji *smiles*
Saeki:*walks closer to Fuji until he's behind him and gives the swing a gentle push*
Fuji:*laughs cheerfully*
Fuji: This is almost like old times, isn't it?
Saeki: Want me to push it higher? I remember when we were kids you liked it best when the swing would take you so high, while Yuuta-kun hated it - he was always scared he might fall. But you were always the brave one. *smiles sweetly as he remembers their childhood*
Saeki: So you remember those days too?
Fuji: Yes! The higher the better! *laughs as Saeki pushes him even higher* And of course I remember!
Fuji:*suddenly jumps off the swing, landing gracefully, and turns to look at Saeki* We had quite a bit of fun today, didn't we?
Saeki:*was amazed at how Fuji could even make landing from the swing a graceful act* Yes. I really enjoyed today. I didn't even realize that’s it’s almost over...
Saeki:*looks quite sad* Oh, and I still need to get you that soy ice cream! I promised!
Fuji:*steps up close to Saeki* That's alright, Saeki-kun. I had a lot of fun today. *kisses Saeki quickly on the cheek* Perhaps we can do it again sometime? *steps back and smiles cheerfully*
Saeki:*was shocked at the kiss, face turns Rokkaku Red*

Saeki: H-Hai... *was about to say something to Fuji but the other guy already started running away, can't seem to take his hand off his cheek* Fuji... *follows Fuji with his gaze until he finally disappears from his sight*
Saeki:*hears his cell-phone beeping* (On cell-phone: One Message Received from: Fuji)
Saeki:*reads the message*
Fuji: I really enjoyed being with you today, Saeki. I just want to thank you for making my day a happy one. Until next time, ja!
Saeki:*smiles as he finishes reading the message, phone beeps again*
Saeki: (On cell phone: One Message Received from Fuji)
Fuji: And of course, you can always treat me to some soy ice cream again next time. ^_^ I hope that monkey will be there too. I'm willing to give him my ice cream again if I can. lol Take care Saeki!
Saeki:*smiles again as he saves the messages in a folder, then exits out of the inbox so he's on the phone's menu page; on the menu, the wallpaper is a picture of him and Fuji while they were still kids, with Fuji sitting on a swing and Saeki behind him, pushing the swing for him, both of them looking at each other and smiling widely*
