War Wounds

I went to a farm supply store today. I'd heard that they have good chainsaws, and Nee-san finally agreed that we should get one ( Read more... )

A-aniki!! >_< NO CHAINSAWS! If you get one, I'm never coming home again, pie or no pie. And I'm getting a restraining order to keep you away from the school.

I'm glad it bit you. That was divine punishment for even thinking about doing anything that required a chainsaw!

And what in the world does a field trip have to do with tennis practice?! No, you know what? Don't tell me. I don't wanna know.

Yuuta! I'm shocked at you! Really, I was simply thinking of the yard work that needs done. It's not like Otousan has time to do it (or even time to come home for very long). I would never mutilate anyone in such a grotesque way - far too easy and cliche.

I was merely thinking of taking a trip to a few of the public tennis courts around town. Play against other people for a change. ^_^

Your icon lies.

We don't live in the Amazon, aniki. There is NO yardwork at home that would require a chainsaw. Maybe not, but you'd be more than willing to scare the pants off of someone who came over, by pulling it out and pretending you'd use it on them. I know you don't like it when Mizuki-san comes to visit!

*eyes you suspiciously* I guess that's okay, then.

Is this one more believable?

You don't need to live in the Amazon to need a chainsaw. I can use it to trim the bushes, trim tree branches, scare the neighbor's dog, the possibilities are endless. And also, you never know when there might be an emergency situation that would require one. What if a tree were to fall on Nee-chan's car? Or on the house?

Nee-chan was also thinking of getting a generator in case we lose electricity for a prolonged period of time. Because you never know when emergencies are going to occur. ^_^

...Yes, actually.

*eys you* I don't trust you with a chainsaw any more than I trust you with any sharp object. There must be something that will do the same jobs without... being a chainsaw.

A generator sounds like a good idea. That way the food in the fridge won't go bad, and we won't have to be really hot or really cold if it's winter or summer during the outage. (ooc: Few things are worse than a sweltering day with no electricity to run the AC. Damn hurricanes!)

Also, I might not be home for a while. Next weekend I might be hanging out with Shishido-san and a few others, and the weekend after that is Ootori-kun's concert. I'll try to make it home the weekend after that, if nothing else comes up.

I'm hurt, Yuuta. You don't think I'm trustworthy?

Well, it is good that you're adjusting to dorm life and making new friends although, I'm not sure about Shishido-san - he seems a little violent. But I know that Nee-san has been missing you terribly - why we had your favorite for supper last night.

(ooc: I think that one of the few things that are worse is below zero weather and no electricity. Blizzards! ><)
