Laughing to Myself Turns Heads
You ever get that memory or thought that gets into your head at odd times and it makes you crack up like crazy?
I get those alot but the most recent one was yesterday in the elevator at work. There is nothing like having a hard laugh when two other people who don't know you are standing in the elevator with you.
The thing was I went to go see the soft 70's jazz sound of Chuck Mangione (yes the Feel So Good hitmaker) and Kami and I were meeting some friends by that seafood place (which I must say has great food and I'm ashamed of myself for not remembering the name of the place). They come piling out of the place and we shoot the shit for a minute or two when out of the corner of my eye I see an older woman come barrellassing out of the restroom in her electric scooter wheelchair type thing and she plows into the wall. The cart does an endo and she backs up and plows the fuck out of there practically taking people out along the way. I cracked the hell up and unfortainately I'm the only one of my group that saw the whole thing go down. My friend caught the tail end of the woman speeding out of there though.
So back to the elevator. I never thought a trip to the second floor could take so long as I am in hysterics and these two people are looking at me. If I only had a camera.
