Well...everyone liked the segments that I cut at work.
They probably liked it because I wasn't worried about it.
I cared and I also didn't care which is always a great place to be.
To be honest, it wasn't brain surgery. It's this Hawaiin Tropic Survivor Contest crap. Still, it was cutting and I enjoyed it.
Even when you cut ridiculously cheesy things, there is a surprising amount of problem solving going on, and definitely an asthetic sense, but that part is not hard in this sort of thing.
Tonight, I'm online editing some stuff. So, it's like you're here with me, if you're reading this. YOU TOO, get to sit in an edit bay and join me next to a big, rainy window. and pipe in some Edge cropped HD footage at an eye poppingly cool resolution threatening to make the drives choke and impel you to stay till the sun rises.
I'm gonna miss the Avid Symphony when I leave here. That shit is TIGHT,yo. Like a little girl.
Editor's note: that last joke is morally reprehensible. The management would like to make it clear that the little girl is older than seven years of age.
