It doesn't matter

I cared too much. They put two stents into his heart yesterday, kept him overnight and he got released around 2 today. Within an hour he was back at the bar. Why should I go out of my way to care when he goes out of his way to not care?

On an unrelated note, it aches from my throat to the bottom of my sternum and my eyes keep watering. I wonder why.
