1) Professor Hunte should seek a different career. His skills do not make him well suited for being a teacher. His lectures are held at a constant monotone and tremendous amount of time is wasted on theory. For the most part, you copy down notes as fast as you can before he wisks away one set and puts up another. There is rarely any solid comprehension of the material while the lecture is proceeding and you end up realising as you go along that you've just copied the same formula twice because Professor Hunte decided to delve into a meaningless talk about where the formula came from. The only question asked during lectures is, "Professor Hunte, could you put that sheet back up? I haven't finished copying it yet." Generally he will oblige, but sometimes he will make you get the notes after class ended.
Besides the lectures being significantly lacking, Professor Hunte is rarely helpful when asked questions during a lab or during office hours. The best advice Professor Hunte could give me when I was having trouble in the class was, "Try finding the notes on other professors' websites." I'm not paying for those other professors; I'm paying for him to teach me and help me learn and that's what I expect. The TA should not be more helpful than the professor. [By the way, whoever the TA is for my section is a really good guy. I've honestly learned more and understood more from him than the professor.]
Additionally, most students have no idea what their grade is in the class. The only grades we know of are our test grades [we've had 2 so far], but we have turned in lab reports, homework and in-class assignments. With test grades not being so great, it's a guess as to if you'll do decently in the class. You better not be struggling though because, if you are, you have no hope of being helped by the professor.
2) The textbook was an extremely significant waste of money. Not only was it completely unhelpful and missing chapters, but unlimited online access to the book's content was included with a fairly cheap WebAssign account.
3) WebAssign is a really good system. I like it because it is simple and you can do your work gradually without having to redo everything if one part of your problem is wrong. It saves your previous answers so you can see what mistakes you've made and review errors. I do not recall ever having a problem with the programme being incorrect or seeking a wrong answer.
4) Boooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiinnnnnggggggggg.........ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz..........
