Who in your life, be that someone you once knew or someone you know now, means the most to you?
That's a hard question to answer. I know, you're expecting me to say Gabrielle without hesitation. She is my soulmate and I have followed her into death, I will never leave her side. But, when it came down to a choice between her and my daughter, Eve I didn't hesitate. A mother's instinct took over and I threw my Chakram at Gabrielle. I mortally wounded my best friend and soulmate, to save my daughter.
There are so many people that come and go in your life, that mean the most to you at that particular time. Pre-Hercules transformation, it would have been Ares and Alti. They meant the most to me after I fought Cortese, I learned everything I could from them. Alti took over my training, or maybe it was that Ares brought Alti into my life when he couldn't be there. They both taught me how to become a soulless killer.
Hercules and Gabrielle helped me to become the 'reformed' Xena. I couldn't have fought my dark side without Gabrielle by my side. She is everything to me and I would go into the bowels of hell to get her out... and have.
I don't have one person that means the most to me, but several that mean the most to each side of myself. Ares for the dark warrior, Gabrielle for the kindness and greater good, Eve and Solan for the mother. Warrior, Mother, and Soul. Each side an important part of me and I am lucky enough to have someone that means the most to each.
