A client sent me a copy of Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, because she loves it so much. I don't know if it's terribly geeky or touchingly connective that she knew I'd love to read it.
On my bop through the intarwebs I found a link for a
Fresh Air interview with Chiwetel Ejiofor . In it, Terry Gross plays a section of David Mamet's "Red Belt" film. The selection includes Ejiofor's character basically showing a rape victim that if she'd had the majik powers he can teach her, she wouldn't have been raped, which reminded me of

jaylake not so much. Having recently spent lots of time in hospitals (and not, thank dieties, for me) I have to say I admire a man who can blog about hospital food - oh hell, can blog about ANYTHING - while enjoying the dubious hospitality and paper-thin garments inherent in involuntary vacations of the medical kind.
