It seems you havent posted on your journal in awhile but I found you by doing a search for common interests. I was wondering where this song/peom/something came from? Did you write it? The interest I searched under was ELIC which I have just recently learned about. Was wondering how you became interested? I dont know if ill get a response back but hey its worth a shot! Hopefully I will hear from you! I think I read somewhere withing you entries that you might have been int he path of Hurricane Katrina or Rita? I myself live near Dallas Texas and so am very aware of whats going on with those situations. I hope all is well with you and your family. Anyways I sincerely hope all is well and again hope to receive a response. God bless!

Hey there!
This is based off a Misty Edwards song she is from IHOP, I cannot take credit for it :) I became interested in ELIC from going to this missions confrence a couple of years ago when I found out about the ministry. I have a passion to go overseas and be a missionary, so it's something that I pray about doing in the future, but right now I am just going to finish up my degree in college, and then maybe get my masters with ELIC. I actually live in Tampa, FL so I wasn't in either path, but I have some close friends that live in Tyler, Tx so they werent affected as badly, and I did mission work in New Orleans last summer, so it is very devistating to see what happened with Katrina. I also have a lot of good brothers and sisters work at Gospel for Asia, its in Carrolton, have you heard of it? How did you get interested in ELIC, are you going to do it? Be Blessed!

I actually did not hear about ELIC untill yesterday. i am currently a missionary intern with an organization known as Mission to the World. The country that I really want to serve in is Japan. I am currently in the support raising process for that. I started exploring the idea of going to China a few weeks ago. ELIC was mentioned by my internship coach in a recent email so I decided I would find out a little more about it, and along with a search on the web I did a search on LJ and found a few people. So thats my story in a nutshell. Im supposed to call a Clark Bowers sometime today to discuss the opportunities that are in China right now. Anyways we will see how things go and where God leads. Oh! By the way who or what is IHOP? I know IHOP as the International House of Pancakes and somehow I doubt that were thinking the same thing. (hahaha)
