I just want more of the Lord. I can't get enough of Him. He is just beautiful.
I don't want some fake walk, and have a Christian-ese answer for everything. I want it to be REAL! I love hearing about those kids in the Old Testament who would devote their LIVES to the Lord. They would study, pray, and worship God with every fiber and being in them!! Those young guys (11 years old) would memorize the WHOLE ENTIRE TORAH! Could you imagine that?? It sounds impossible but its not! After memorizing the torah they would go to their Rhabbis and ask to take their yoke upon them, and be discipled by them, to be the best they could possibly be.
I want that discipline, and I know I can do it by the Lords strength. I want more wisdom. I need to have the faith that I can do it, because the Lord already has the faith IN ME that I can!! I don't want wisdom just to show how much I know, but I want to know God more, and His beauty! I want my desires and His desires to be one. I want my life to be focused on His perfect will.
Daddy, help me have that child-like faith...
