[Warren's sitting on his bed. If you looked to one side and focused very hard, you might see the edge of something familiar on the bed. Which some people might even say looked a bit like Rex's old wig ( Read more... )

The Admiral would be sick of all of us. Then we'd suffocate in space.

The Admiral gets too much fun out of seeing us suffer. He'd never give that up. What does it matter anyway? Most of us are supposed to be dead.

Well, personally I'd be a bit upset if I died tomorrow, even if I am supposed to be dead.

...Well, that's more than just a little confusing.

The Admiral may have no reason to keep us here, but he also has no real reason to throw us off. None of us have met him, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know names. He's just there.

Yeah, well. It's not inaccurate, you know?

He's just there, yeah, but we're trying to get rid of the system that he set up. If I was an all powerful sea captain, I'd be pretty offended.

I'll take your word for it.

Who's to say that he put the system in effect? Is there anyone here who has been here from the very beginning to back that up? Who's to say that he cares at all? He could be sitting back with a martini with the barge on autopilot 24/7 for all we know.

[That would be Warren's default method of running the barge if he was in charge.] So are you saying that he could just be some guy in a cabin? A guy just like us?

[He would never admit it, but it'd probably be Isaac's as well.] Maybe not quite like us, but I don't think he's going to lose sleep over any of this. He never lifted a finger before, why would he choose to start now?

Some people think that those floods and ports are deliberate. And he can make stuff appear for us. Like my shark.

They could be, but we don't know that. And I'm still under the impression he'd been waiting for someone to ask for a shark.

Man, I hate to break it to you but there's a small number of people in the world who are awesome enough to ask for a shark. There were pretty small odds that one of us would come along.
