[Warren's sitting on his bed. If you looked to one side and focused very hard, you might see the edge of something familiar on the bed. Which some people might even say looked a bit like Rex's old wig

Looks like we're on, then. And your room. I'd say mine, but my warden has a theft problem. [Meaning, he's making him eat his own money, but that's complicated.]

[Clapet waves his hand dismissively,] Me and my warden had an... altercation. [Clapet let's him take one, no matter how awkwardly. No use in making him feel useless. He steps inside and dumps the other bucket.]
Where did you get yeast, anyway? That's... difficult to get.
[Spam in a Can]warrenwhiteOctober 25 2010, 11:51:54 UTC
Your warden hit you? [Warren seems more horrified about this then when Clapet took down the Joker.] I didn't know that they were allowed to do that.
The yeast? I got it from a friend. He had some around. [Warren wasn't going to mention and names unless strictly necessary. He put his own bucket down on the floor.]
Re: [Spam in a Can]453gof_fleshOctober 25 2010, 11:55:09 UTC
I hit him first. [Clapet shrugs. He's not too bothered about it, really. It was a... manly way to approach a disagreement, and he wasn't about to go whining to others and making excuses. The stealing, on the other hand, was something entirely different.]
That was quite fortunate, then. I suppose we should get on with putting this together. Where can we... keep it? Safely.
[Spam in a Can]warrenwhiteOctober 25 2010, 22:17:27 UTC
Oh, right. [Warren is beginning to think that Clapet is a little bit worrying. To say the least. But hey, if you have a crazy violent person around, it's probably for the best to have them on your side.]
Well. [Warren stopped to consider that.] We could either do it here or find somewhere on the barge. The chances of my warden coming are pretty low and there's always the chance of discover if we made it in say, the eighth floor cupboard.
Re: [Spam in a Can]453gof_fleshOctober 25 2010, 22:30:57 UTC
[Clapet was definitely on Warren's side, and intended to remain that way. He liked Warren, but still expected a lot of loyalty from him. It was just how things were.]
I think here is safer. If someone else finds it, they'll either steal it or throw it out. If your warden doesn't come much, it's secure.
[Spam in a Can]warrenwhiteOctober 25 2010, 22:35:13 UTC
Yeah, sure. Even if he did find it, I'm not sure that he'd get rid of it. He's a bit... strange. [And by strange Warren meant a lot of things. Mainly that he thought his warden was a few eggs short of a dozen.]
[Warren considered the buckets, deciding where to start.] We should probably get some water before we get going.
Re: [Spam in a Can]453gof_fleshOctober 25 2010, 22:46:16 UTC
Better strange than a bloody thief. [Clapet looked around,] Is there a tap in here? I can do that. I got grapes, mainly, for the fruit, so we shouldn't have to cut it up much.
[Spam in a Can]warrenwhiteOctober 31 2010, 00:40:09 UTC
[Warren was beginning to think that stealing from Clapet would be a terrible, terrible idea.] There's not a tap in here. I'm pretty sure that the wardens mostly have running water. [Which was really, really frustrating.]
Good call on the grapes though. [Warren was pretty sure that they would have gotten sick of preparing other fruits by hand really, really quickly.]
[Spam in a Can]warrenwhiteOctober 31 2010, 05:15:45 UTC
All right. It's not that far, right. And if anyone asks, just say that your warden's getting you to mop some floors. [That sounds plausible enough to Warren.]
[Spam in a Can]warrenwhiteNovember 1 2010, 00:22:38 UTC
[Warren opens the door quickly. He didn't want to risk Clapet being seen going into a room with the buckets. He moved aside, giving Clapet room to come in.] Hey, good work. Did you run into anyone?
Looks like we're on, then. And your room. I'd say mine, but my warden has a theft problem. [Meaning, he's making him eat his own money, but that's complicated.]

Yeah, okay. We'll do it in mine. We don't want your warden running off with any of our stuff.

[And, five minutes later, a Clapet with a bruise under his eye, turns up with buckets of fruit. And yes, he's cleaned them.]

[He is being helpful and taking a bucket from Clapet though, awkwardly. Not having fingers is hard.]

[He heads to the door,] I'll be back shortly.
[Five minutes later, he's back, and kicking on the door, because his hands are full of two buckets of water.]
