LiveJournal auto-post
I'm in Spokane for a friend's wedding, so nothing useful to report to anybody (not Spokane-related, anyway). However, per xiphias, I indulged in LiveJournal's Auto-Post feature. I'm not sure if I understand the point of it, but like Mt. Everest, it's there, so why not. Here's an interesting excerpt:
Oo, I like this one too. At least it's nicer to look at. Again, thank you, Intro to Economics! (It's oriented differently than the previous survey I posted, but the result is so obvious but he plays it up like he's discovered a new continent. However, the interstitial material-- interviews with kids, interviews with executives, frightening exposés of school cafeterias, obesity statistics and the like-- is great, and he indirectly (by way of my watching videotapes along with the kids) introduced me to his ideas. The name is a play on "Orthodox," which implies rigid conforming with a particular tradition or ritual. It would appear I'm the only person on LiveJournal with that interest. Cool.
