I'm back.
Went for a little trip. Needed to get my priorities straightened out. Obviously nobody missed me-- just as planned it should be. However, upon my return I went and talked to the administration. I believe that if I'm really going to last another year in this damn crazy house of a school, maybe some kind of responsibility would be something that might keep me grounded.
Having recently experimented with the methods and techniques involved in humanization, I offered my services as someone who could at least provide some assistance to the seemingly never-ending supply of students who just happen not to be human. I was handed the pamphlets and guidelines to study, and I am told that by the time classes have resumed, I will officially be the student advisor for humanization. It was actually quite disconcerting seeing how quickly they ushered me into the role.
So. To all you students and, I dare say faculty, who are of the non-human persuasion, I offer you my services, and hope that if you have any questions or problems, you won't hesitate to say what is on your mind. I certainly would like to see the many students who have been relying on technology to support their transformations, since there may be options you have not considered which might give you a somewhat greater range of freedoms...
As for all the humans in the school-- well, I'm sure there's a guidance counselor who can help you with all that.
