Tying Things Ups

Apr 15, 2009 17:30

As of April 1, I decided to end the 365 picture project. Too much to keep up with for me, just don't have the knack for the camera like I thought I did. I will enclose some photos though at the end of some of the last few days of it that I managed to keep up with and that turned out well.

Anyways, I'm getting over another major sickness, nasty viral infection over the last week. Nice cough, stuffy nose, sore throat, fever, aches, chills, and diarhea and even throwing up for the first time since 8th grade. In the words of my mother "this is the sickest I've seen you in your adult life."

I was on prescription cough syrupwith codeine that I got from the UB Student Health Center and MucinexD. Mucinex sucks and led me to take a bunch of other decongestants and tylenol which probably led to me throwing up. I missed a few days of classes and that sucked pretty bad since I've missed a good amount already from earlier in the semester when I was ill bad.

During the illness, Taylor, our basement cat, was put to sleep. He was about 19 years old and was found to be going through kidney failure which had led to his blindness. He wasn't eating or walking well till that point either. It was easier for me to let him go, seeing how I didn't see him every day, but it was still pretty sad. He had been with us for such a longtime time.

RIP and love Taylor...

I've also had some whacked out dreams, two in one night. The first was I had gotten a job at a Rite Aid in West Seneca and for some reason went into this SUV to go to the bathroom, and I started peeing from the middle seats into the drivers. The manager than caught me and she said it was ok what I was doing for some reason.

The second that night, I was at a place that strongly resembled Alumni Arena and was in this room with this Iranian nuclear warhead that the US government had recovered. I then went to another room and there was a big press conference going on with this Iranian president who was saying things like that his country will do whatever it has to do to protect itself and so forth. I went back to the warhead and realized it was actually a trick, it was a timebomb from the Iranians and I could here it ticking. So I started to get out of Alumni Arena and was seeing UB football players like Naaman Roosevelt for whatever reason, too. I ran out of the building and started running away from it while a ton of people ran in a different direction. I saw my mother running in that direction and we each yelled bye and yelled also that I loved her but she didn't hear me. I then heard an explosion go off as I'm running and I looked back and didn't see anything blown up, so I kept running. I then eventually dived up this hill into all these sticks at the base of some trees thinking the flames and napalm were going to get me, but they weren't coming. This is when I woke up.

I also had a dream that I was watching TV and Dan Marino came out of the closet.

Here are some pics, Enjoy them.
