Crazy warm sunny day today. Kevin came over and we went out to hike some of the trails along the Eno River out around north Durham, which is a gorgeous spot to go strolling around. Shady enough to cut the temperature a bit and keep the sun off your skin.
Vala enjoyed the walk immensely, although we had to be careful to keep her from sticking her nose down what we think was the entrance to a beaver's den. (Big hole in the bank of the river, and several small trees had been gnawed down in the neighborhood.) Saw big birds of prey, lizards, several turtles, and many nice puppies walking with other people enjoying the day. Good time.
