Fraud

I guess one of the drawbacks of buying shit on the internets a lot is that inevitably, at some point, somebody is gonna swipe your credit card number. The other day I noticed an odd new charge of $2.40 to ClickandBuy (some kind of British Paypal-alike), which led me to look a little closer at my account and see that someone had bought a couple of porn site subscriptions with my card late last month.

Luckily it's not that hard to deal with one's bank about this kind of thing. Also, it's a lot less money than the last time this happened, when somebody in Malaysia used my card number to buy a $900 plane ticket.

I was always kind of curious as to where the Malaysia guy was going to fly to. Never did find out.
