Right, Jade's gone. Great. But she was clearly coached prior to her exit, either through leading questions in the diary room, or in confidence with a producer. I suspect the latter. Which enabled her to do a sharp 360 in the house and make up with Shilpa and try and prove she wasn't racist after all. Her being evicted was the right decision, but why pander to her by removing the audience. She went out to silence, I wanted to hear boos! She would have been crucified, maybe that's why. Maybe she's in hiding now. But will they do the same for Jo and Danielle? They were far less aggressive but said far more racist things than Jade did. I bet they don't. I rather think this has less to do with 'security' which was the excuse for no audience last night, and more to do with Jade and Davina McCall having the same agent.
In other news BA doesn't look like it will strike this weekend. I was rostered to work on the disruption line from 2-10 pm today. The time and a half for TOIL would have enabled me to go to A Dog's Breakfast on 1 Feb. I mean, I will still be able to go, but I might have to sacrifice something else I've booked leave for. Or I might have to get inventive. F who works in contingency reckons I will have plenty of opportunity for TOIL over the coming month, she's convinced there will be a strike at some point. But not this weekend, which is good cause we're planning to meet up with Aude tomorrow for coffee and cake. If they strike I get more much needed annual leave, but if they don't then there is less chance of the airline going under/being bought out and me losing my job. So every cloud........
Oh yeah. Great. That freak Nadia whatsit who wanted to wear her cross, and who advises people not to worry about the flight cause God will look after them, as she hands them their boarding card, has won her appeal. So BA have to change their uniform policy, but other airline's aren't. There uniform policies remain identical to our in the area of religious apparel, but they are not being forced to change theirs. Fair? Of all the airlines at the airport, why did she have to come and work for us, after being paid off by American Airlines for causing the same problems with her crucifix at work and trying to recruit Christians?
