RE: Shanks approached to star in 3rd Stargate series!
Ooh, that's interesting. Didn't know anything about 'the long rumoured spinoff'. Would like him to do it cause it's regular work and it would be nice to see him on telly, but not sure if he should do it or not, career wise. Totally type cast by now, and it HAS to be REALLY good. It has to be at least as good as Atlantis, it can't be something they've dreamt up in their sleep cause it will KILL his career. :-(
Work do was very good. 3 course meal 14 quid, all the managers put cash and cards behind for a tab and it lasted for ages. Tonnes of office gossip and got a really cool Secret Santa pressie, Jack Daniels miniature and Jack Daniels glass. Must be someone who knows me really well! Much better than last year. I'd forgotten what it was, but it was a small box of chocolates (which I kept) then some horrid 'novelty' gift. Maddelena reminded me today that it was a pair of furry handcuffs. I'd forgotten cause I unwrapped it, knew instantly it wasn't coming home with me, hid it under some wrapping paper rubbish on the table and never thought about it again. So a huge improvement.
Home now, and am STARVING! We had lunch at 1.30 ish, it took ages which was good cause we were milling around chatting so didn't finish till 4 ish. But it’s still way past my dinner time. Adam's making pasta, yummy.
May copy and paste this into LJ for speed. Don't have time for updates at the mo, my first proper one for ages may as well be a drunk one.
