(no subject)
Wandered on out today, trying to get the last minute things done for school.
Remember, a few weeks ago, I actually enrolled, and they were supposed to order my high school transcript then, so all I would need to do when the financial aid stuff finished would be to decide which classes when. Spent about two hours wandering from person to person in department to department, trying to figure out why this wasn't working the way it was supposed to. Eventually found out they don't have my transcript, after all. A week and a half until school starts. Dammit. My high school BETTER be willing to overnight my transcript, or I'm gonna snarl at someone.
Tried going down to MVD to replace my ID, and no cash, no card. :( I am a geek however-the nice person told me that I could do it online-so it's done now. It should be here in a few days. :)
Miwa, when you get back, me you and Ol' Man Murphy are gonna have a talk. I left my laundry up on the line last night (it was late, and I didn't want to mess with it). So, guess what happens? Yup-it rained, all day. Gee, THANKS Miwa. YOU can have Ol' Man Murphy, thank you very much. :p
Otherwise, today was an ok day. I'm having to remind myself that patience is a virtue, and in one instance, will reap an enormous benefit. (Dave, don't you Even think it;) I'm kinda sore from the rain and the cold, but hot baths and ibuprofen will take care of that. I don't feel like I got as much accomplished today as I wanted to, but I should be able to finish it up tomorrow.
Thought of the Day: Dreams, hopes, wishes are wonderful things. They're even more wonderful when you're actively working on making them come true, even if the interim wait is agonizing at times.
