1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?: Tried out for Jeopardy (finally).

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?: I don't have resolutions.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?: OLIVIA IS ABOUT TO HAVE MINI-QUILTY ANY SECOND NOW!

4. Did anyone close to you die?: Nope, thank god.

5. What countries did you visit?: Canada, Jamaica

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?: Wow this is hard.  I'm going to have to go with a summer abroad though.  That would be awesome.  To be more specific, I wouldn't mind spending this summer in southeast Asia or eastern Europe.  Those places would be ideal...

7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?: I don't think I should mention it here, lol.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?: FINDING A NICHE I ENJOY.  Although I'm generally good at most areas of math, I like analysis the most.  Not a huge fan of algebra and topology.

9. What was your biggest failure?: Choosing to take EPS 7, which was a horrible idea.  Runner-up: my summer in general...lol.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?: This year?  I sprained my knee quite badly hiking in the Canadian Rockies.

11. What was the best thing you bought?: If we're including clothes, I'm going to have to go with my new leather jacket :).  It rules.  Besides clothes, I'd have to say my bike.  It's been SOOOO CLUTCH for me.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?: This is a weird question.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?: My moods aren't affected by others that easily.

14. Where did most of your money go?: Haha I should stop buying stuff on ebay.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?: Canada was dope.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2009?: "Where The Sidewalk Ends"-I See Stars.  Such an awesome song.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: i) happier or sadder?: happier ii) thinner or fatter?: thinner iii) richer or poorer? richer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?: I should have explored Boston, gone to New York more, stood up for myself in certain situations

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?: Procrastinating

20. How did you spend Christmas?: At home in FLORIDA :)

22. Did you fall in love in 2009?: Nope.

23. How many one-night stands?: None.  I don't do that stuff.

24. What was your favourite TV program?: THE BOONDOCKS.  Seriously I don't even mess with South Park, Family Guy, or any of that stuff because The Boondocks is on another planet.  Also I don't think South Park and Family Guy are that funny anyway...but that's just me.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?: Yes.

26. What was the best book you read?: Watership Down

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?: The Devil Wears Prada

28. What did you want and get?: True friends.

29. What did you want and not get?: All As this past semester.  Whatever, at least that happened the semester before :-).

30. What was your favourite film of this year?: District 9 was good.  Although it didn't come out in 2009, Brotherhood of the Wolf was class.  2010 I'm betting Alice will be good.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?: 20.  I just got trashed, lol.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?: Going to an island (Cres) in the Mediterranean for a month in the summer would have been epic...

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?: I really stepped up my game here.

34. What kept you sane?: I really have no idea.  Arguably, it was playing indoor soccer in the winter that was a briliant move on several counts.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?: Farrah Fawcett...maybe because she's dead?  *shrug*

36. What political issue stirred you the most?:  The closing of Gitmo, wildlife conservation

37. Who did you miss?: Zandre

38. Who was the best new person you met?: Robbie, but we go way back (since freshman year).  However we started hanging out more this year.  Awesome guy.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009: I actually learned this a long time ago but it's worth saying now.  It's better to excel at one or two things than it is to do ten things and be decent at all of them.  Another one: true friends are very difficult to come by.
