Heroes Episode 4: The Kindness of Strangers

Oct 24, 2007 01:59

this, for some reason, i think is the best episode thus far. here are my thoughts:

1. it only took Sylar 3 days to get out of that dense jungle?! with his chest stitched up and all?! amazing.
2. i'm starting to dislike Maya's character. first she goes into panic mode so easily, which doesn't help since she has that freaky power that brings new meaning to "if looks could kill". next she goes all excited when Sylar (who comes clean and introducs himself as Gabriel) says he's headed for NY and proceeds on bringing out Suresh's book. AND THEN panic mode nanaman siya in the car when Sylar confrots them and yan tuloy, the twins' powers are showcased. shet. maling wrong move.
3. what's with the token cockroach crawling by the blood that Sylar spills?
4. shet. so Matt Parkman becomes an interesting character, what with his daddy being not only one of the elders, but is a very very bad daddy pala, according to dear Molly. i still don't like him though. especially with one of the things he said during the episode. hahaha. pinersonal ko daw. it's good to see him working with Nathan though. makes me wonder how many more of our heroes are connected with the elders.
5. sigh. more kilig moments with West and Claire. but it's getting a wee bit suspicious though, the way he seems determined to win her trust.
6. Micah is getting annoying again but that girl he's staying with is someone to look out for. her powers reminds me of the girl's that Hiro fell in love with.. that pretty waitress Charlie who can absorb information like osmosis.
7. Hiro and Peter are no-shows this week. is that why the episode was so interesting? haha. the stories they're both in right now are getting dragging.
8. winner line of the week is delivered by Mrs. Petrelli: i've committed so many crimes, it doesn't matter which one i confess to. this is miiine!!!

i caught a glimpse of a spoiler scene on E! where Veronica Mars appears. apparently she's going to be looking for Peter in Ireland. hopefully to save him from that bland Irish lady.
