indeed. how DO we measure a year? last Saturday, SaGuijo Cafe, held its anniversary party. shempre, i was there. i'm becoming a basura-of-sorts of that bar.. i can't help it, good music a couple of blocks away is always a lovely thing. as expected, it was HELLA crowded and some of my friends were getting claustrophobic already. someone told me though that Terno Au Go Go Productions' first prod night there was worse, since it had people buying booze from MiniStop along Pasong Tamo because the waiters couldn't accomodate everyone and people were parking a couple of blocks down the road. what i didn't expect, however, was that it was a MYX-sponsored event. huh. i guess it's nearly impossible for a place that cozy to be kept uncommercial forever.
i was in despair when i found out that Drip just finished their set when we got there, but catching Bagetsafonik, Pedicab, Christmas Lights, Imago, Death By Tampon, Milagros Dancehall Collective and Tension made up for it.
aside from my usual partners-in-crime, i was also with mamsyeb. looked for _sillyrabbit_ through a harassed-looking stainedshirt (apparently, beach_bitch was already on Ivan's case). bumped into carl9331, who became my "pseudo-date" and introduced me to genevois. at the Theo gallery upstairs, we met yadayadayadaa, aijin_kyodai and jigga_jayb. complimented besosyburbujas on her (as usual) fantabulous outfit and later on, talked to and mooched cigs from raven23. did i forget anyone? if i did, sorry, i was soo on my way to getting plastered :)
all in all it wasn't bad. just pretty damn humid, which is REALLY nothing new.
